QuotePilot is a responsive quote generator and proposal dashboard prototype for freelancers and small businesses. It shows how manual Word, Excel, and email-based proposal workflows can become a cleaner web-based process with client details, itemized services, proposal preview, status tracking, and a lightweight dashboard.

The app demonstrates a focused quote creation workflow: users can enter client details, add itemized services, apply a discount, select a currency, preview a client-facing proposal, and track quote status from a lightweight dashboard.

This project was built as an AI-assisted development case study using OpenAI Codex, with manual product direction, QA, testing, GitHub workflow, and Vercel deployment review.

It is intentionally scoped as a portfolio MVP: no real authentication, no payment processing, no tax authority integration, no accounting compliance, no real invoicing, and no backend database. The goal is to show how a messy Word, Excel, or email-based proposal workflow can become a clean, testable web app quickly.
